NO reason to do a THING! As long as she maintains that upward channel, she's ALREADY CONFIRMED the BREAK-OUT & historically has traded higher so it's about being vigilant, patient, & greedy!
Pia: Don't sell your runners too early is what I'm saying TO MYSELF. Let her continue to do what she's doing. And that's until she doesn't & then I take profits & cut her loose. Sometimes she goes higher & that's okay, but often she returns for another dalliance. That's how I see this. It was IMPORTANT to see that $42.09 break within a CERTAIN TIME-FRAME (for me personally) because that's what I've learned WORKS FOR ME. Not suggesting anyone else do likewise... GLA
*Raj: Re-test of a breakout is typical. If it breaks the lower channel then that's the signal. When you're green it's often a preferential thing whether to take profits into a breakout, or wait for a re-test to SEE IF it goes HIGHER, or fails & retraces. Sometimes, you do get head-faked ... Just the markets. Chart analytics are a bit art, (math def) & science... But it isn't ever exact, there are many other variables in play... GL
PS: This is PRECISELY where (we PM-talked about this on Fri) I look to OTHER indicators to confirm SUPPORT, weakness, etc.,... RIGHT AT THIS VERY MOMENT the BIAS imv is on support (moving back up, even if it's only to TEST bottom channel up-trendline or re-TEST recent NEW near-term high @ $42.17)... I can't tell anyone else what to do. Just saying that FOR ME, personally the breakout set-up is WORTH the wait & risk to see if it will set NEW HIGHS. But MANY FOLKS take their profit RIGHT HERE... I don't see the $0.05 - $0.07 on a $42.00 dollar stock as that big of a deal. So, FOR ME, it's worth the pennies to see if it MOVES HIGHER when the indicators are biased positively imho. But, to be clear, just because they are BIASED a certain way does NOT mean they ALWAYS "pay out". These are probabilities we're discussing here...
