Hi Reaper,
Dude, I’m totally game to hunker down. Recently I’ve been considering a job function change that would allow me to always work from home. Unfortunately, infrastructure IT can’t fully be handled remotely. I’ve had to go into my work’s WA warehouse pretty frequently in the past week, and do my best to stay safe while being around 30 - 40 people. Our TX warehouse has been hit twice by COVID in the past couple of weeks. Since we’re an “essential business,” we don’t have to close down for 14 days. CDC recommends we shut down for one day to ventilate and deep clean. So... there’s that.
But my main obstacle to “hunkering down” is my three year old. It’s fun, and probably good to get outside (we do our best to keep our distance from others). Been going to a couple of beaches along Puget Sound to collect sea shells. Yeah, we’re not supposed to do that, but I’m only going to fight so many battles in 2020. So if some sea shells come home, oh well :).
Hit the east side of the Cascades over 4th of July at the family cabin. It was a nice quiet retreat.
Glad to hear you’re well. Hope anyone reading this is also doing well!
