In 1918 there was a flu pandemic and humanity survived. Which just goes to show leronlimab is not needed and they'll sell no vials.

We all know there hasn't been any changes to the world since then...

1) Higher population density today
2) More frequent world travel for people (higher chance of spreading the virus)
3) Faster world travel for people (spreads virus faster)
4) COVID-19 often not showing symptoms during the contagious stage of the virus
5) COVID-19 not a type of Flu

etc....

Just surviving instead of finding a cure or prevention will lead to a higher than acceptable unnecessary deaths.
