It's not all that silly to expect a DVD release by Christmas. After all, Brad said that is when it will be released. From the RAQ:

"The film is scheduled to run in US theaters through the end of year, when the DVD is scheduled to be released. "

It is not silly to expect an "end of the year" DVD release to be timed such that it takes advantage of a Christmas market.

The only silly thing, I suppose, is to believe that NVEI would actually meet a timeline.

How's that funding coming? Just around the corner, right?
