Was the settlement between KRMD and EMED what I expected or hoped for?
NO!

The litigation expenses for the year 2019 were $3.4 million
The litigation expenses for the year 2018 were $900K

I suspected that management believes that the settle is a percent of expected future litigation cost. The settlement frees KRMD "antitrust, unfair business practices" litigation going forward, and allows the company to focus on growing the business.

Everyone wants to win but in this case winning is putting something behind so the company can move forward.
