Dank, I'm a retired lawyer and I always invest with taxes in mind, meaning I always hold long term and I usually sell my rare losers ASAP to grab losses. Taxation is one of the few things an investor can control.

Note that studies show HIGH portfolio turnover correlates with LOW portfolio performance with is one reason index funds do so well. In regard to RCEL it's always best to consult your tax professional.

Likely many IHUBers are low income retirees or have stock loss carryovers so that taxation isn't a big factor for them. You must consider your own situation.
