I'm opposed to censorship also, trust me, but these supposed phone calls and e-mails have been going on forever and only one message (and that was only a partial) that anyone ever posted claiming it was Des's own words has come to fruition. Just as it is illegal to post false news, I'd be willing to bet that it is at least borderline illegal to post information on behalf of the CEO that is not true. So, is it my responsibility to decide which posts are true and which ones are false, or do I simply let anyone post anything they'd like? In that case, why have a moderator at all?

It's just as easy to say that you have a good feeling or an opinion that a PR may come out tomorrow as it is to say that Des called you in bed last night and promised there would be a PR.

People are posting these conversations as fact, without the slightest ability to verify it. If I ignore it, I could very well be taking part in manipulation by ignoring it. Opinions are one thing, but these are hardly being posted as opinion.
