X, I agree, the progress Dr Lebby and team LWLG has made since the 50Gbs at 3V is off the charts incredible in such short time!

In ML's SPIE presentation the 100Gbs 1.9V was revealed on Slide 28 where ML compared LWLG's technology to the Incumbents, and the Incumbents Research progress as well

1) LWLG current R&D at 70-100+GHz 1.9V Loss 8-10

2) SiP currently 25GHz at 1V but Losss already greater than 10dB, and current R&D being done at 50GHz no specs (likely because Loss is so miserable even at 25GHz they are probably far worse at 50GHz)

3) InP currently at 50GHz 3V Loss 7, and current R&D at 80GHz 1.5V Loss not shown, but based on logical extension would be greater than 10 easily

4)LNb currently 30GHz 6V and Loss 5.5, and current R&D 56GHz 2.6V 3.4 Loss

5) Plasmonics current R&D 100+GHz 1-3V 17-25 Loss

So Bottom Line is that LWLG is the BEST of the all of the R&D out there for true Next-Gen, and very likely WHY it was chosen in the recent IPSR Roadmap as the HEARBEAT of Photonics going forward!

250+ top minds of the Photonics Industry put LWLG squarely as the future heartbeat of optical transmissions in the just published IPSR International Photonics Roadmap

The IPSR-I displays the consensus of more than 250 experts from all over the world, representing an equal mix of large multinationals, small & medium enterprises, institutes and universities.

Energy savings drive Photonic IC roadmap to polymers

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Oct. 22, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Lightwave Logic, Inc. (OTCQB: LWLG) is pleased to report that energy-saving polymer technology is highlighted in the recently published Integrated Photonics Systems Roadmap - International (IPSR-I). This important industry roadmap was defined jointly by a global network of Industrial and R&D partners. The roadmap model is based on the highly successful roadmap that has enabled the CMOS industry to navigate Moore's Law for decades.

Why LWLG? Why would all of these top minds in the Industry name LWLG's technology as the future HEARTBEAT of the Photonics Industry???

Not entirely sure, but I heard it was because they won this award.. haha, but actually, more likely LWLG won this award because their technology is so INCREDIBLE it will become the FUTURE HEARTBEAT of the Photonics Industry (duh) !!!!
nearly 10,000 of the Photonics Industry's top thinkers into believing LWLG's P2IC Platform attained greater achievements than those of Intel, Broadcom, Infinera, and Rockley?

LWLG beat out Intel, Broadcom, Infinera, Rockley!

LWLG - BEST ACHIEVEMENT IN PIC PLATFORM

Lightwave Logic (LWLG) beat out Intel, Infinera, Broadcom, Rockley and a few other finalists for this award!

excerpt >

The award was presented by Dr. Jose Pozo, Director of Technology and Innovation at the European Photonics Industry Consortium, who said, "This year the PIC Awards program had over 80 nominations to choose from, and received over 9,000 votes. I am personally amazed by the huge potential and fast developments of Lightwave Logic. The future is extremely bright for a company which has managed to develop a 100GHz polymer-based PIC platform, enabling potentially great functionalities, for example electro-optic modulators to address 100 Gbps and 400 Gbps for fiber optic communications applications."

Dr. Lebby, CEO of Lightwave Logic accepted the award at the ceremony in Brussels today. He noted, "I am truly proud and privileged to be able to accept an internationally recognized award for our plastic polymer technology platform on behalf of all of Lightwave Logic. The team has worked very hard in developing innovative, high performance, power-efficient materials and devices for the internet, and this award is a testament to the quality of their work."

ML was quoted from the ASM presentation as saying "this award helped IMMENSELY"

What does immensely mean?

1 : marked by greatness especially in size or degree especially : transcending ordinary means of measurement the immense universe. 2 : supremely good.
