Just watched a MSNBC interview with NY hospital talking about test shortages. Said antibody tests would be helpful but only had 87% sensitivity and need to be more accurate. That sounded better than the 60% the UK quickest showed. I think I read that the PRED test touted sensitivity in the 90s. How is this rating determined? And without FDA confirming/approving the commercial rollout how will facilities know which tests are quality (hoping PRED has the gold standard) and which are less reliable?
