Yet most of the deaths are older or have preexisting conditions. My point is that they need to be properly triaged for ventilators.


This is much worse than common flu in mortality rate, probably a factor of 3-5 X more fatal and it is also 1.5-2 times more infectious.



I haven't seen anything that gives enough data to support those numbers. Also if someone is heavily impaired by age or preexisting condition, is it really a COVID-19 death?
