Wow, that was an unhinged rant.

This is a ludicrous conspiracy theory. BP isn't a centralized hivemind cabal. They spend 99% of their time trying to one-up the other.

Hell, they aren't even all based in the same country, from JNJ, PFE, GILD, Sanofi, Bayer and Roche all come from different places.

Even assuming Novartis or PFE was "punishing" AMRN, what stops JNJ or AZN from riding in at the last min to swoop up AMRN from their clutches at a 10% higher bid?

AMRN management sucks - lets just accept that, and the company is really unlucky.
