The comments on ethanol are BS. People don't eat the corn that makes ethanol. Cattle are fed this corn. Starch only is removed from the ethanol. The rest is dried and returned to the farmer as cattle feed with higher protein content and longer shelf life. Called DDGS.
It burns very clean and lowers pollution.

The only truth to this post is. Don't let todays gas set in 2 cycle engines. as ethanol attracts water. It does need to be burned. It's fine if used right away. Now those are the facts.

Ethanol is used in almost all gas these days. Unless noted differently. Unless noted it will contain up to 10% ethanol. I use 15% all the time. It's often cheaper as some folks that don't understand are afraid of it. Modern vehicles are designed for 15 percent. Now to use the higher blend you vehicle will have a note on it.

Ethanol has higher octane rating than unleaded gas. It's used also to stop the stop the pinging noise cars used to make when running on unleaded only.
