The Huawei Mate X does have a liquidmetal hinge.

This from a press release from Feb 20 2020:

Did EON make this hinge for Hauwei? If it's selling in Europe doesn't the PLA claim we, LQMT USA, receive royalties on those sales?

So if our engineers at EON and Yahoo can design complicated 100-part hinges how hard can it be to come up with ventilator parts for Medtronic?
