I agree that Bitcoin is nearing a crossroads. It seems that Bitcoin is no different than the stock market. When the world economy is in the doldrums, people need cash; so just like the stock market, people sell their Bitcoin causing it to go lower.

On the other hand, I think this big downturn is temporary, and with the US along with most of the large economies pumping cash into the system, there could a be a buying spree when this is over.
