You have obviously never run a business. If you show a loss for the year, you don't pay any taxes. In fact, you can use that loss to help offset taxable revenues in future years.

There are many companies out there making good money who actually don't pay any taxes. I highly doubt there is any tax liability for Mexus. It has plenty of problems, but paying back taxes is not one of them.
