QMDT(.07)...CEO interview, March 20.....

I accumulated a sub-penny position in dark QMDT during 2019 for reasons unrelated to the current viral outbreak (see an explanation below). But I think there is a decent chance that QMDT will eventually attract attention from investors looking for fresh, obscure, or under-the-radar types of antimicrobial plays.

I don't know what the current share structure or debt situation is like for QMDT. But just based on my own experience in trying to accumulate a position in this stock, it wouldn't surprise me to see an extremely nice (and potentially explosive) move in the share price if any significant/sustained volume came into the stock.

Still holding my full position in QMDT. Definitely high risk because of the dark status, but it continues to trade much like I experienced while I was accumulating a position. It just "feels" like it is very capable of extremely wicked swings in either direction. I've had a hunch for quite a while that this stock is going to see a solid/tradeable move above the 10-cent level. Given how explosive some of the coronavirus plays have been, I'm still sticking with that belief.

QMDT's CEO did another interview with The Wall Street Transcript (the interview was done at the end of February and posted on the TWST website on March 20).....

This time the order page showed up as being secure so I purchased the March 20 interview. I think TWST frowns on any extensive copy-and-paste of its interviews, so I will just mostly paraphrase a few things of interest. I wouldn't say the interview was worth the purchase price, but it did give me a little more insight on some things, and it did confirm that QMDT could very well be considered a coronavirus play.

It appears that QMDT is still using the Stay Fresh trademark in addition to the OxiTex trademark. CEO Liesenfeld says OxiTex is used for the "more consumer-facing textile products".

The Nimbus technology is still being used in Integra LifeSciences' (NASDAQ: IART) Bioguard wound care product line. Several of the development partners that are using the Stay Fresh technology will be "emerging in the relatively near future".

Apparently QMDT has been receiving a lot of interest about using Stay Fresh on hard contact surfaces. According to Liesenfeld they have shown in the laboratory the ability to make a surface retain its antimicrobial activity for months even after repeated/heavy contact use. This is what he said about the partners: "Those are solutions that we’re exploring with a number of partners, including some Air Force partners."

In response to a question about the coronavirus and viral infections, the CEO talks about how QMDT's technology can disinfect and provide antimicrobial protection to surfaces and personal protection equipment/textiles. He makes this interesting statement: "there’s been a lot of interest from our partners in generating a face mask that is antimicrobial in nature."
