The FDIC has now withdrawn its determination because the Receivership's theoretically possible recoveries have been revised upward as a result of changed circumstances and could possibly exceed the previously calculated $1.698 billion deficit, which in turn could possibly result in payment on non-deposit claims under the most favorable circumstances.[/color]

.....looks like the FDIC changed its mind.......................which is a ladie's prerogative..........

......only clarifier is, that this is COLONIAL BANK............not the HOLDCO which went thru a nasty process, and the HOLDCO shareholders got 20 bangers, if they got in at the right time......(TYVM)....



Sounds to me, like that's where we are at.

And are you 100% positive that FCNCA bought the NOLs, I have a HUNCH that it was a different bank, maybe JPM?
