08:54 AM EDT, 03/10/2020 (MT Newswires) -- Lumentum (LITE) on Tuesday unveiled what it said were three "breakthrough high-speed datacom laser chips," broadening its portfolio to facilitate the growth of future hyper-scale data centers and 5G wireless applications.
The company said the chips enabled data centers to "increase their bit rate and lower their overall power consumption."
LITE share rose 3.5% in pre-market trading.
