You are correct on that scale. I guess that is long term for the new investors. AMD might have a chance to make the 'long term chart look different. The problem is they will have to reinvent the wheel X86.

Believe me, I have questioned my holdings more than once. It takes huge money to play the bleeding edge. The question is who has the cash flow to continue to invest at that edge for 'possible' future returns.

It's a very short list. Its even a shorter list when you look at return to investors.
I'll stick with my long term bet.
