I like the speed of the 4/8ema action. Not so fast as to create unwanted whipsaw and not too late making potential profit too small. Yes, I have fiddled with ema's and always come back to 4/8 as what fits me best.

I use standard bb and standard kchannel. My interest is in the angles and direction of those midlines. Price excesses outside the bands are pay attention for possible reversal signals as well.

Sweet spot. It depends on the price of the shares. That said, I trade $10-15,000 per trade. On LABD that is 1000-1200 shares and .30+ would be awesome. On LABU it is 200shares and the move is generally $1-3 and sometimes more.
NUGT has about $1 intraday, sometimes more at $31 and DUST would be 2,000 shares at .15+.
TVIX is currently 39.85.

I watch how macd 12,26,9 and 6,13,5 move for trend
stoch 10 and rsi 8 momentum
Then CMF and OBV for volume and buy/sell balance for support resistance in the VbP bars.

I use the same set up on daily, hourly and 5minute (except no 13ema on the 5minute)
Here it is on a daily. I also use a 1minute 1day chart for advance notice to what might influence the 5minute candle before 5minute candle period ends. Helps with front running when there is more volatility.
