I think Illegal burger needs to rethink their *delivery* of their concept with some concept tweaks.
They are going for a Jason's deli, type feel.
I believe their apparel and concepts are more geared to cultivating an environment that allows casual get togethers for drinking and hanging out.
I believe they are pushing to replace big name places like McDonald's when they should be fighting more for that casual.... a nice burger place people can stop by sit down have some fries and burgers while throwing back some drinks, then hitting a club or bar.
The virtual tour was a big let down to be honest..
They showed select information and information franchise owners would want were not really presented.
They also try relaying to heavily on family comments, kids, future, etc to try to rope in feeling buys.
I don't know of it was the franchise plan, but it seems this was done by people who *think* they can market towards the newer generations, but were heavily mistaken
This is a good concept, but it's being done wrong..
*I imagine illegal as a casual sit down with decent furniture in the night life districts of certain cities. However it's day time hours still hosts good burgers and meals for people who want more of a sit down and relax feel than McDonald's. Maybe some beers on lunch before heading to another meeting in the high rise.*
But that's just one person's thoughts..
Well I like the concept, but as for value...
Well you can all decide that for yourselves.. but unless they change their concept, I don't think they'll make it..
