Tungsten is part of the “3TG minerals” which North American resources were #1, during my childhood. Looks like the 30Y commodity price manipulations are seeing their end wink As well, the strong private sector is investing/buying into them through their own public gateway mergers and acquisitions via 'private placement' labels. It's happening everywhere in Canada and Australia.
