Keep in mind that as long as the Dow closed above 26430 for 2019, then it is still poised to make a new high in January 2020. If we see a high form the week before or after January 18th, which is a Saturday, then the market may be making a temporary high from which we could see a decline into early 2021.
Between here and January 18th will not be clear sailing. We should see a choppy advance, which will be yet another indication that we are not yet dealing with a long-term major high.
