Gilder ..the issue is the following

. As anticipated due to the mechanism of action, the most common self-reported adverse event was loose stools/diarrhea at an incidence rate of 52.5%, with approximately 90% of these events judged by the investigator to be mild to moderate in nature.

My wife is a PA in dialysis clinics. These patients need to stay hooked up to the dialysis machine 4 hrs a day ...3 times a week ......so loose stool / diarrhea is a problem they ( running the clinic ) don't want to deal with .

This drug is a real winner IF they can find a way to reduce rate of diarrhea/ loose stool .
If they announce anything regarding this ..please post
