IMVHO this has always been about two things..one SK Hynix wittling down the price to pay..and two...what is a reasonable RAND rate...

Hynix was able to lower the price by causing some doubt/success with the 623..NLST has upgraded the 623 patent..but there is still some doubt...confusion and uncertainty ...

SK Hynix in court documents has said they know they are infringing and just dont want to pay NLST price..they want what Samsung paid ...20 million..

To answer your question...Clarity..The Final determination will likely be on the 907 only..Now the price can be determined and the two parties can come up with a reasonable rate..Hynix was going to drag this out to make sure that they werent going to pay unless they were 100% sure the patents were valid and infringement occured...also that Micron and Samsung were infringing...too..and will have to pay up..

THe 623 was the mother ship..the 907 is still worth atleast 500 million..times 3..

Hynix might settle before the FD now that there is a good chance NLST will think the 907 is the only monetary patent..then again they might wait for the FD..but even I understand that the 907 patent is essential to Hynix microns and samsungs memory rand chips...

why would Hynix settle or work a deal first..they could take a bad thing and turn it into a good thing by partnering with NLST..this way profiting from the situation..by being first..taking an equity stake in NLST before Micron and samsung and google will probably triple their investment...

just my thoughts...Good Luck..
