No there's special rules with a large dividend like this. Just went through something similar on GSB. When a dividend is 25% or more of the stock price, it doesn't go ex-dividend like normal (say on Dec 17th). Instead it will go ex-dividend the day after the payment date. So I'm guessing Dec 27th. So any holders on Dec 26th will get the dividend, but the stock price will automatically be adjusted downwards by $1 the next day. Stock will likely drop much more than $1 after the dividend given the bad news yesterday on losing more Comcast business.
