Sent to my Rep and Senator, as well as every corruption watchdog i could find:

Representative ______,

I write to you today concerning two-issues that plague our nation - corporate money in politics and unchecked patent infringement by billion-dollar corporations.

I am a small investor in a micro-chip innovator called Netlist, based out of Rep. Katie Porter's 45th District in Irvine California. Netlist has been fighting a losing battle against South Korea's third largest Chaebol, SK Hynix, and others, to enforce their memory chip patents. Netlist recently obtained an initial determination in it's favor from the US Court for the International Trade Commission. The investigation is now under review by the Commissioners of the ITC and open for public comment.

Shockingly, your fellow member of Congress, Ted Budd of North Carolina's 13th District, filed a petition for review yesterday with the ITC. Ted Budd came out in support of SK Hynix, a foreign corporation who has been stealing technology from American companies for years. Politico reports that he did so just days after attending a party hosted by SK at it's Washington offices, where he rubbed elbows with SK's Chairman Chey Tae-won - a billionaire who was previously convicted for embezzling millions from his own company (he was later pardoned by President Park-Geun-hye). Also in attendance at the party was SK's retained lobbying firm Squire Patton Boggs, which previously contributed to Ted Budd's campaign for Congress and the Club for Growth conservative super-PAC.

It was not enough for SK's to steal from Netlist, a small American innovator. SK is now trying to use our broken, corrupt political system to stymie Netlist's pursuit of justice. I ask that you help bring integrity back to this great nation and expose SK's dirty dealing, and representative Budd's clear corruption.

Sincerely,
