The Alvim Alpha would be a practical mathematical application right now. TGRO has left the Elliot/Fibonacci models this poster has posted. I believe a model using 3M then TGRO is ridiculous anyway. Alvim wrote four books on the topic. It is an excellent tool for cheap crap companies like TGRO. I think his son runs some mutual funds out of Houston now. I'm guessing the books are still sold.
