I guess that is because you pay the taxes up front. Interesting. I use Deferred Comp at work which is easy the and tax free up front but you pay upon withdrawal and have to wait until retirement age to take anything out except under extraordinary circumstances. The other part is that you are limited to investing in funds and I use index funds.
