Sometimes I think that our CEO does not understand how much easier and more effective his job would be if VirTra's sales were rising exponentially (or even steadily at +50% per year).

EVERYTHING within a company gets easier when sales are zooming upward. Employees are more productive. Everyone is happy. Easy to motivate. Ideas spring forth like Spring flowers. Bonuses here, bonuses there, bonuses everywhere. New hires, new energy, fun. Ferris is smart but does not seem smart enough to understand what he does not know or has not experienced. Had he ever worked for top tier company he would understand the power that comes from sales growth.

Our CEO seems more fixated with doing the blocking and tackling and laying the foundation for future sustainable growth. While much of this IS necessary work my belief is that more focus should be on SALES NOW and GROWTH NOW as that will help all else including driving future exponential growth. The all else includes the VirTra mission to save lives. VirTra would save more lives with MORE SALES and MORE TRAINING.

Ferris needs to approach SELLING PRODUCT and SERVICES with a sense of urgency. I do not see that urgency but instead see methodical and plodding. Look at how long that Regional Sales Manager position has been posted on the company website. If I was CEO I would cancel every current opening (about a dozen) and instead hire a dozen more top notch sales people to spread across this great USA.

The walleyes were committing suicide yesterday in Sawyer County, WI. The "partridege" (actually ruffed grouse) were doing their best to avoid my 12 gauge.
