Hi, EZ,

Thanks for your kind thoughts. The fire nearest to us claimed two victims. It's a damned shame as the fire was caused by the trash truck driver dumping a fiery load on a roadside.

The Santa Ana winds blow hard at this time of year, as you recall feeling them at El Toro.

Incidentally, decommissioned El Toro has become the Orange County Great Park.

I miss the F-4s and F-8s skimming the houses and buildings.
