STILL a diamond in the rough. Lets digest the basic 'nothing new' 8-k.
TMPS was already priced for Armageddon without the Navy contract.

Litigious minded longs, help me out here. Read the 8-k carefully.

"The contract award was subsequently protested and as announced August 22, 2019, the Navy informed Tristar, that a decision has been made to take corrective actions and the Navy intended to cancel the contract."

Yippie. Nothing new. Now here come the coffin nails IMO, that could work in TMPS' favor if the Johans are willing to get off the deck and do it.

"In a letter dated October 8th, 2019, the Navy has informed Tristar that as a consequence of litigation related to the Government’s procurement of this contract the Navy is de-scoping the entire remaining effort under the contract and no further work will be performed under this contract and all existing task orders."

'as a consequence of ligitgation related to the Government's procurement of this contract the Navy is de-scoping' the entire remaining effort....

The litigation is clearly the scorched earth GAO filing by the entitled mentality 'incumbent provider', no need to mention their name we all know who it is.
THIS is where Tempus needs to step up! IMO they should file a mega-counter suit against the incumbent boys for anything and everything they can think of. Defamation,,,,OAR legal counsel clearly dragged Scott Terrys personal legal problems into this, they were in the GAO filing. IMO pure scumbaggery. The SBA and Officer Silverstone BOTH DISAGREED with 'the incumbents' and said that TriStar was indeed a SDB (small disadvantaged business for those that don't know).
It was here that I believed we were given a huge golden nugget, although pink sheet trading thus far hasn't shown it. It was here that OAR legal counsel declared that TriStar was NOT a SDB, because its parent (Tempus) has revenue (we can only assume they were referring to gross annual revenue, it did NOT say per se) that 'substantially exceeds $32,500,000.' IMO this is one big reason the MMs don't have a huge appetite to dump this into low pennies, and its still hanging around 20 cents. Bottom line, Tempus is way bigger than a joke $6m market cap, and Dr Terrys personal legal situation had NO PLACE in a GAO protest filing against Tempus/TriStar!
How about a serious 14th Amendment violation? The SBA and Officer Silverstone said they believe TriStar is a SDB. If so, it looks to me like their small disadvantaged status was just clearly trampled and steamrolled by OAR and its legal counsel. Sure as hell looks to me as those TriStar was 'less equal' than OAR, since the Navy is now admitting that the litigation is why TriStars award is being canceled.

Im sure there are a few more things that a crafty attorney could find to use against this BS OAR protest filing, its long and full of crap IMO.
Will read the filing again and address this further. For now, TMPS trading as if this is the non-event that IMO it is.

DE--SCOPING,,,,curious choice of words by the Navy. Notice they didn't say 'ENTIRELY ELIMINATING'. They use the word 'de-scoping.' Hmmmm,,,,perhaps they plan to wear down OAR and its counsel, until they have nothing left to whine about? Maybe, maybe not.

Keep in mind we have heard nothing from the September confab! This 8-k addresses only the April contract. Stay tuned.
