Even if offers of capital were real there are all sorts of legitimate reasons to turn it down.

for example if I offered Alex $1,000 to buy new UATG shares so that I would own 51% of the outstanding shares I would guess that he would reject that offer.

I could then correctly post that Alex turned down my offer of new funding.

Alternatively I could offer $10 million provided that he put up $20 million in cash as collateral for my new investment.

I could then correctly post that Alex turned down my offer of $10 million
