1,000,000 shares in account. Price goes up $1 account now up $1,000,000

Management steals them 15/1 so account now has 66,666 shares.
Price goes up $1 account now up $66,666

The shares management stole for nothing now show the $1 price rise in their portfolio
Please explain how that benefits anyone but them.
