I believe it is "not viable or effective" because what it CLAIMS to do is physically IMPOSSIBLE! All that nonsense about "scrambled signals" and "non-pain signals" is simply IMPOSSIBLE. Topical electrodes can do ONLY two things -- one, cause a twitch in superficial muscle, and, two, cause pain secondary to heat caused by current passing through the subcutaneous fluids.

There are NO receptors that recognize electric currents or any signals allegedly transmitted by electric currents. Marineo's claims are NONSENSE. Actually, the stupid device wouldn't even make a good BUGZAPPER because the voltages developed are so SMALL.
