Drug reps make various levels depending on experience. You have to include the sales managers in this which are paid a higher base and get a percentage of sales. The number is probably high ($250k) but when you take the average and add their expenses, FICA paid by employer, health insurance and car allowances, $250k is probably not far off. I am sure they are using the $250k as a conservatively high number as a cushion.
