I seem to recall you mentioning that in the past so I guess I have to defer to you...

Funny, when we were in Europe 5-6 weeks ago, the buskers in Ireland railed on a common theme amongst themselves and that was an intense hatred for the U.S.'s use of (and seemingly total disregard for) the environment involving "plastics". I argued with one clown that the U.S. wasn't even in the top ten of polluters (since found out we rank 20th globally) but to no avail. I smiled and walked away like a good American...
