The best option is to ask the broker to have the brokerage buy the shares from the individual account for 0.0000001 and go ahead and pay the transaction fee (which will exceed the gross proceeds) in order to sell the turds and claim a capital loss for this year.

One basically is paying the brokerage to take the shares into their house account.
