Hopefully a Walmart announcement next.

While I'm dying for all kinds of expansion, I'm beginning to wonder about what selling to discount stores will do to the profit margins.

In fact, I've been thinking about this a long time. I used to pray that we did NOT get in Walmart. I kept thinking the company can make huge profits on mark-up by selling online or to little Mom and Pop stores but would have to sell 3 times the amount of stuff to Walmart in order to make the profit on just one unit CVSI sold themselves.

If you can buy a CVSI product for $10 less at Walmart, why buy it online and pay $10 more plus shipping? Will CVSI set the bottom line purchase price in a contract with Kroger and the other big names? Make a deal where they can't sell it any cheaper than what CVSI sells online?

It just seems that getting in more and more stores will water down the profit margins. I know . . . I know . . . 'volume'. With super low wholesale prices to Walmart, CVSI may have to put out 10 times the volume and expend the energy and effort to make it in the future just to make the same profit. Anyone get my drift on this?

Again . . . Bueller? :)
