So I have been offered restricted shares of an OTC penny stock for my business. I was just about to sign the paperwork to sell, then found out through a friend who has also been issued restricted shares. He has not been able to find a broker that will allow him to deposit them due to certain criteria. I spoke to a reputable broker who allows deposits only if the stock is trading at 0.25 or higher. The shares of the company I have been offered are currently trading under 0.05. My concern is that if I sell my business for these shares, will I be able to find a broker who will allow me to trade them after the shares are no longer restricted? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
