The POL submitted by SHC says SHLDQ shares will be cancelled on the "effective date".

What happens if the POL is not approved? Then imo, everything regarding SHLDQ shares will be up in the air.

Will the Judge dismiss the case with or without prejudice? Will the Judge order this case to be transferred to a Chap 7 BK? Will SHC itself file a new Chap 7 case if Judge Drain does not assign it?

These are all questions whose answers I do not pretend to know. That is why I say that the outcome of SHLDQ shares will not be resolved until either the Chap 11 POL is approved or until a Chap 7 case is opened and proceeds to a conclusion resulting ultimately in the dissolution of SHC (Sears Holdings Corp.) as a legal entity.
