Citation Growth Corporation....Canopy Growth Corporation.


I may be speculating again....but is seems odd that Canopy stock symbol is CGC...and...

Citation Growth Corporation...will be choosing symbols before closing in June. I jokingly said CGC is taken already.......it is taken by Canopy.....on the NYSE.

Since Citation Growth will be on the CSE....I checked to see if any one had the obvious choice for Citation Growth Corporation...CGC.....no results found. That implys that CGC would be available for Citation Growth to use as the new symbol.

Does it seem odd that...

With all the executive knowledge and experience sitting in a board room trying to come up with a new and better name than LIHT Cannabis.......somehow....this was overlooked...or is there more to it...?

Canopy Growth Corporation...current NYSE stock symbol.....CGC

Citation Growth Corporation....possible CSE stock symbol.....CGC

The similarity in names is hard to overlook....potential matching stock symbol names is odd...or brilliant. We don't know if they will end up with that symbol...but that would be the obvious choice.

Citation Growth Corporation....sounds like a mutual fund.....or an offshoot of...Canopy Growth Corpoeation.

Any opinions on this?
