One thing I wanted to point out here, i did on another board for another retail stock, and if one has never been through this type situation it is good to make note of.
One good thing about times like this in retail sector, due to 1000's upon 10,000's of stores closing nationwide due to ones like Dress Barn that fold up and others like Jills that cull off the weak, revenues and numbers get a serious boost as all the money spent at other stores that are now gone has to get spent somewhere, that's one of the very good pluses to retail melt downs every 8-10 years.
Those who have never been through one are in for a treat the first 2-3 years after a retail forest fire revs/earnings/same store sales are up across the board as new money flows in from customers from former stores. good times ha ha. Doesn't feel that way now but watch, that shopping money doesn't disappear just finds new stores to be spent. The survivors come out big big winners every time.
Peace out.
