HDC could be a 10 bagger or it could go to zero. INTC is not going to do either of those things. I believe they have very different positions in a portfolio.
Many invested in INTC for the 2 to 3% dividend yield, which is better than most bonds have been doing. Intc still has not hit the highs it had during the tech boom in 2000, but it has approximately doubled over the past 10 to 15 years.
I think we are in the middle of a huge transition and we need to see how it plays out. Tablets are down, client PC/notebook are down a little, cell phones are flat, while server, datacenter, and cloud are UP substantially.
