It is very nice for us, we have those experiences in our past and they have worked out VERY well. The drop from $17 to $4 a share was gut wrenching on legal in Canada yet we saw what Bruce was doing and he basically did everything he promised. When he said he bought the Hershey factory, the Smith Falls local news had an article about it, when he said he had the first legal grow greenhouse that was 350,000 sq ft in Niagara on the Lake, I drove by it and sure enough there were a whole lot of 2’ babies as far as the eye could see. When he said they cropped it off, I drove by again an saw folks in white suits scrubbing the place down. We have our experience with Bruce, his style, his execution. The folks that hold the shares in Acreage are used to putting up capital and getting paid and repeating the process. Acreage is 6months old the shareholders probably do not know much about the cannabis space so they may not be aware of the extreme potential of what is going on here. Listen to the chart guys who get excited over a 10% rise or drop cuz that is what they know. This is so much more than an 8% guaranteed return that the investment folks are used to. We are also used of the language they use in the deals and how it will unfold because we have seen it with Bedrocan, Mettrum, Hiku, and other ancillary companies. The gift of the cash per share that goes straight to investors on signing, a big bonus to Acreage to be able to issue shares to purchase American assets BEFORE the rules change but the inevitable dilution (which we have seen so many times) is shared equally between Canopy and Acreage. It is a challenge for folks to digest this scope in 2weeks what we (and our bank accounts) have experienced over 5 years :)
Everything could go horribly wrong but I am betting it will go wonderfully right.
That is why I am sharing here ad nauseam I can say what I have seen first hand so people can play the game too this is a fun game and I love it when everybody wins! :)
