...you are right: we are not talking about REI we are talking about PED. But if you want to understand the business model of PED please study the business model of REI and the latest analysis of REI from Seeking Alpha (there is no newer analysis available of PED).

I think Kukes is trying to copy REI. He realy is a smart guy !

He bought land in the same northwestern area than REI did. He nows that the wells drilled on the companies acreage are remarkably profitable.

Plus the typical low decline rate provides for a different paypack pattern than the typical unconventional wells of the more visible Eagle Ford and Permian Basins.
