Nothing will keep this market down, so far since xmas last year. Bad news is good news, good news is spectacular news.
The most bullish thing a stock or the market can do is go up.
I kept saying an early april top was likely, now that is not possible, and the next time period would be late may.
Bottom line: The bears need the vix over 14 for more than a day or two for the market to turn bearish. 14 is the 50dma for the vix, and historically when the vix gets over its 50dma, that is very bearish.
Weekly sentiment is not as extreme as in the past at major tops. The put/call for the ISEE is actually very bullish, and the cboe has giving several sell signals in the past couple weeks, to no avail.
Am still short, heaven help me.
