I invested many years and considerable funds into Calmare and its predecessors when they held portfolios of various technologies aside from the Calmare device. Little by little various CEO's failed to develop them, looted the company, mismanaged the patent assets, failed to develop what they had, and reduced the once-promising firm into an empty shell with little or no value.
Where once they had an array of potential products capable of producing both financial success and benefits to a variety of customers, they now have little to show for this but a management team that has produced nothing on their own and has been unable to make the last of their portfolio into a viable success.
this company will someday be used in college textbooks as one of many poster-children demonstrating how and why there are more failures than successes throughout American corporate history and that, even with a good and useful product, ineptitude can lead to destruction.
Now, despite a fading belief in the actual product given that, despite scattered successes, rigorous testing has never achieved the evidence of success needed for such a device, I watch to see how and when the company will finally end the torment for those who cling to a belief that seems never to come.
