With the drop of BSV price over the legal disputes between Craig Wright and the various people making defamatory comments over the Sotashi name, I wonder if this will impact the Squire deal in the short term.
I don’t think BSV was profitable to mine before, now it will be worse. I can see two scenarios why it could be delayed.
1) Squire holds off, as they could not take the mining losses, it could put them out of business before they really get going.
2) Craig holds off, as he will be concerned that in self preservation, Squire would mine BTC ( or BCH ) where a profit could still be made, the loss of Hash on the BSV network would be devastating. If he holds off, he can eliminate that risk.
Temporary, but may be better for both sides to delay until these legal disputes are out of the way. Or at least until the BSV price recovers.
