I think an ex Canadian Prime Minister and an ex Republican speaker of the house might have an inkling of how to time things that hinge on legislation don’t you? This deal gives Acreage access to brands that are known in Canada and world wide while Acreage gets Canopy’s brands to offer to the largest recreational market . This is a match made in heaven. Acreage gets support from Canopy and Constellation brands while they are stuck in the state by state playpens they have been restricted to and the instant the feds legalize you have the biggest and best known brand ready made to dominate the globe. This was orchestrated by very savvy folks just in time to give the global economy a boost because it can not make as much money in the old industries.
